The Fair dates are Wednesday, August 18th through Saturday, August 21st. We will have two entertainment areas, the Main Stage and the BBQ Area. The Main Stage will have a full sound system run by a sound technician. The BBQ Area, will have a variety of acoustic and minimally sound reinforced acts. Performers not requiring a sound system and those who can provide their own can be scheduled in the BBQ Area especially between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., when community groups host BBQ's.
- All performers will be selected for slots on the stages. Variety is the key, as we want to present a wide range of entertainment.
- Programming on the Main Stage will be in 45-min. time slots with a 15-min changeover.
- Budget is also limited and thus we may not be able to pay all performers. If you can get a sponsor for your act or are willing to waive monetary compensation this will help us assure you a spot in the program.
- Busking (passing the hat) is a possibility (especially in the BBQ Area) with prior approval. Performers interested in this are encouraged to apply.
- Merchandise Sales (i.e. CD's, tapes, t-shirts, etc.) is usually fine. Prior approval is necessary on all merchandise.
